My Account

Activating My Account is quick and easy.

1. From the library's homepage, click Advanced Search 
   
    
2. Click on My Account in the upper right corner of the Advanced Search page. 
   
    
3. This will take you to the log in page.

Username:

For patrons who entered COA between Fall 2018 to now:  Your username is the first part of your email (i.e., the part before @coa.edu) and all letters should be lowercase.  (ex., if your email is rcarson22@coa.edu, your Username is rcarson22)

For patrons who joined COA prior to Fall 2018:  Enter your first initial + your last name.  The first two letters MUST be capitalized and the remaining letters lowercase (ex: JMuir).

Password:

The first time you log in, this will be your 14-digit patron barcode number.  It starts with 250150000...

• STUDENTS - this number is on the back of your student ID, just under the barcode
• FACULTY & STAFF - contact the library for your number
• MDI RESIDENTS - this number is under the barcode on the back of your COA library card

View what items you have out, renew them, change your password, and/or place a hold.

Using the Various Tabs

Items Checked Out - See what items you have checked out, when they are due, and renew them online.

Holds - Place an item that is currently checked out on hold. We will set it aside and contact you when it is returned. 

Account Preferences - Change your password and/or email.

Lists - Items you have put in a basket (from your search results) can be saved to lists you create here.

Fines - We do not levy fines; however, you cannot check out additional items if you have items that are overdue.

Payments - Click to see if you owe us for any lost books
