archived: Fall 2020 at Thorndike Library

Requests:  You have two options for accessing books and DVDs found in the library stacks:

• Option #1:  Curbside Pickup - Send us your request for a book or DVD to  library@coa.edu with the subject: ITEM REQUEST.  We will deliver your items to the Kaelber window for curbside pickup and notify you that they are ready.
• Option #2:  Browse the stacks - One person at a time is allowed to browse the stacks.  Items can be checked out at the Circulation Desk in the stacks.  Schedule an appointment.

Returns:  Place items in the book drop outside the main entrance to Kaelber Hall. 

Covid Safety:  Depending on the material, items will be quarantined for 3-4 days before recirculating.

Our print journals are arranged alphabetically by title in our stacks.  These do not circulate.  However, you can schedule a time to browse the journals.

There are no course reserves this term.  However, required and some recommended course books are on a shortened 1 week loan period.  These books will be quarantined for 3 days when they are returned and then reshelved in their normal places in the stacks.  See our list of books on a one week loan period.

These are available for 24 hour access via our library website.
